    This page aims to list all the policies for the Foodies in the Park. The policies are periodically updated. Please check the date above for the last update. We are committed to transparency and fair use of the data. Please contact us for any questions that are not addressed in the policies below.

    Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the website operated by the Foodies in the Park.

    Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

    By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.


    We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

    All provisions of the Terms which by their nature shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.


    Our Service allows you to share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”). You are responsible for the further use of this information, in accordance with the laws of the country where this content is made available.


    We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 5 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.


    The holder of a reservation (“reservation holder”) to Foodies in the Park (the “Event”) is admitted to the Event on the condition that the reservation holder agrees to the following terms and conditions in favour of Great Events Catering Inc., its directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively “GEC”).

    Any breach of these terms and conditions on the part of a reservation holder shall entitle GEC to, as applicable, seize or cancel the reservation, refuse admission to the reservation holder or expel the reservation holder, at the sole discretion of GEC and without refund to the reservation holder.


    Each and every person attending the Event must present a valid reservation name.

    Reservations are available for groups up to 6 people. A minimum spend is required for all bookings. GEC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to group size on no less than 7 days’ notice prior to the Event.

    Only reservations purchased directly through GEC, The Bow Valley Ranche website or Great Events Catering website shall be valid for entry to the Event and reservations cannot be resold without the consent of GEC. Reservations purchased from resellers or through other sources may be stolen or counterfeit and may not be honoured.

    Refund and Rescheduling Policy

    Reservations are non-refundable, non-adjustable and are specific to the date for which they are purchased (the “Booked Date”). If government restriction result in cancellation or postponement, refunds may be requested. Processing fees will be fully non-refundable.

    GEC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to the Booked Date in response to requests made no less than 10 days in advance of the Booked Date, and only if spots are still available for another date. Requests should be directed to [email protected]

    Should GEC cancel the Event on the Booked Date for any reason, GEC shall reschedule the Event and provide you with notice of the new Booked Date. If GEC is not able to reschedule the Event, GEC shall refund the full face value of the reservation total.

    GEC reserves the right to change the Venue, should the need to do so arise.

    Venue Conditions and Rules

    The Event will be hosted in the Artisan Gardens (the “Venue”) located within Fish Creek Provincial Park.

    The Venue is located outdoors in a Provincial Park, and may include uneven terrain, unexpected weather events, wildlife, or other hazards, and each reservation holder accepts the risks associated with same.

    No pets or live animals, except for properly-documented service animals, shall be permitted at the Venue.

    GEC is happy to welcome reservation holders celebrating special events, but confetti is strictly prohibited, and a $100 cleaning fee will be charged to any reservation holder who brings confetti into the Venue.

    The following items are restricted, may not be brought into the Venue, and may be confiscated by GEC, its employees, agents, or contractors: weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, food or beverages from outside the Venue.

    Reservation holders consent to a reasonable examination of their person and personal belongings to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
    No smoking or vaping of any type is permitted outside marked designated areas in accordance with Government of Alberta requirements. If a fire ban is in effect at the time of the Event, no smoking or vaping shall be permitted within the bounds of Fish Creek Provincial Park.

    Each reservation holder is responsible and liable for their own behaviour and shall refrain from committing any assault or property damage, and from engaging in risky or potentially-negligent behaviour while at the Venue or its environs.

    Reservation holder agree to treat GEC and its representatives with respect, and to comply with their lawful instructions at all times before, during, and after the Event. reservation holder who are disrespectful, or are otherwise disruptive during the Event, will be expelled from the Event.


    GEC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any individual.

    GEC further reserves the right to request proof of age from any person prior to serving alcoholic beverage.

    Each reservation holder acknowledges and agrees that GEC shall bear no liability for any injury, death, or damage that a reservation holder may suffer or cause any other person as a consequence of intoxication, including but not limited to any injury or damage to any person resulting from the operation of a vehicle while intoxicated.

    Food Allergies

    GEC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate food allergies or sensitivities where we are made aware of those allergies or sensitivities no less than 5 days prior to the Event. Requests for accommodations in this respect should be directed to [email protected]

    Notwithstanding the above, GEC does not warrant that any food or beverage served at the Event is free from cross-contamination. By attending the Event, each reservation holder accepts this risk and releases GEC from any liability arising from any reaction a reservation holder may have to an ingredient served at the Event.

    COVID-19 policies

    Great Events Group Corp and its affiliates follow all COVID-19 rules and guidelines both before and during all catered events as outlined by the Alberta Health Services.

    The reservations holder and or guests are fully responsible for their own actions & safety and will ensure that they do not exhibit any symptoms within 14 days of the event and will maintain proper social distancing as well as all mask bylaw requirements. Great Events Group Corp. reserves the right to cancel or halt any event due to changes in government guidelines.

    By reading this agreement, the reservation holder, all guests, and representatives, hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify Great Events Group Corp., their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability from illness or injury as a result of any catered event related to COVID-19.


    GEC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate reservation holders who have mobility or other accessibility needs, provided that notice of the need for accommodations is provided to GEC no less than 5 days prior to the Booked Date of the Event. Requests should be directed to [email protected]


    Open parking shall be available near the Venue on a first-come, first-served basis. GEC accepts no liability for the loss or theft of any personal belongings left in vehicles parked near the Venue, or for any damage to vehicles in the environs of the Venue.

    Promotional Materials

    GEC may take photographs or video of the Event for promotional or marketing purposes. Each reservation holder irrevocably grants permission to GEC to take photographs or videos of them during the Event and to use those photographs or videos in all forms of media for marketing and promotional purposes.

    General Liability Waiver

    Each reservation holder agrees that GEC shall bear no liability for any injury, death, or damage of any kind, including death, that befalls any person while participating in the Event or in attendance at the Venue and its surrounding area, including injury, death, or damage that may be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of GEC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, or assigns, and releases GEC absolutely from any liability, claim, action, cause of action, or other proceeding associated with the Event, whether occurring before, during, or after the Event, within the Venue, or in the environs of the Venue.

    GEC’s liability for any loss, damage, expense, or cost associated with a reservation holder’s purchase of a reservation or attendance at the Event, or any cancellation of the Event is limited to the face value of the reservation.


    Each reservation holder agrees to defend, indemnify, and save harmless GEC from any judgment, damages, legal costs on a solicitor-and-own-client basis, and other expenses arising from any type of claim or proceeding against GEC related to the acts or omissions of the reservation holder.

    Privacy Policy

    Information collected and stored

    Like most website operators, we collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how website’s visitors use the website.

    We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

    When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

    • Send you information about your account and order
    • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
    • Process payments and prevent fraud
    • Set up your account for our store
    • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
    • Improve our store offerings
    • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
    • If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

    We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

    We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

    Access to stored information

    Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators, Event Managers and Shop Managers can access:

    • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
    • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
    • Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.

    Use of personal information and sharing

    We may share your data with a third-party. This could include, but may not be limited to, analytics, marketing, payment gateways, shipping providers, and third party embeds.

    We will not sell or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

    We would like to send you email marketing communication which may be of interest to you from time to time. If you have consented to marketing, you may opt out later.

    You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.


    Our website contains links to the external social network, Facebook. This external social network is exclusively operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA (Facebook). Links to Facebook are made clearly visible on our website through the use of the Facebook logo or through the add-on “like” button (Facebook plug-ins are not used).

    Where these links are followed, Facebook plug-ins will be activated and your browser will establish a direct link with the Facebook servers.

    If you follow the links on our website whilst you are signed into your Facebook user account, information concerning your visit to our website will be passed to Facebook. Facebook can assign your visit to our website to your user account.
